Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Major Hardwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alpa Chino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hardwood might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ali Bomaye by The Game. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Usyk jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Smaug is looking for the big counter here.
Usyk misses with a straight right.
Smaug swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Smaug thows a left - swing and a miss!
Usyk takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Smaug fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Usyk looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Smaug lands with a shot to the body.
Usyk tries to clinch up.
Smaug has closed the distance and engaged Usyk in a clinch.
Smaug blocks an elbow strike.

Smaug lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Usyk backwards.

Usyk throws an elbow but it misses.

Smaug lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Smaug lands a big head kick that sends Usyk tumbling to the mat! Smaug takes a step backwards and waves Usyk back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Smaug buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Oh Usyk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smaug throws a left and a right that both miss
and Usyk counters with a one-two to the body.
Usyk misses with a hook
and Smaug makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Usyk lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Smaug circles away quickly and effectively.
Smaug gets a clinch.
Usyk seems to have got his legs back now.
Smaug lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Usyk throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Smaug blocks it with crossed arms.
Smaug drops Usyk onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Usyk is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Smaug pushes Usyk against the cage. Smaug is working some dirty boxing. Smaug pushes off with a quick right hook! Usyk goes down! Usyk tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Smaug moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cinder Smaug!
