Grundy is rocked!
Giantsbane prevents Grundy from getting the reversal.
Oh Grundy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Giantsbane loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Grundy scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Giantsbane land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Giantsbane stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tormund Giantsbane!
Tormund Giantsbane decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
