The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Pope misses with a low kick as Tolentino jumps back.
Tolentino throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pope stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pope throws a head kick that misses.
No joy there for Tolentino, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Pope throws a big counter combination but Tolentino scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Tolentino will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Tolentino counters with a crisp one two that drops Pope! Tolentino thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Pope to his feet! Pope is in big trouble!

Tolentino throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pope stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Tolentino moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Pope! Tolentino continues to tee off on Pope, landing with a left and a right! Tolentino connects with a right hand that leaves Pope sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Tolentino!

The fighters circle momentarily. Vader darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Vader shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hatkis pinned against the cage. Hatkis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
