Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kid Cudi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kai Firanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cudi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is King Wizard. Firanen has chosen Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Kai Firanen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Cudi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Firanen.

Firanen dives in and scores a takedown into Cudi's guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Firanen working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cudi pushes a forearm under Firanen's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Firanen is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
