The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee swings for the body but Jackson moves out of range.
Lee throws a right and a left that Jackson avoids nicely.
Lee connects with a looping right hand.
Lee is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jackson.
Lee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lee fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
A big left from Lee misses.
Lee misses with a hook
and Jackson counters with a nice uppercut.
Lee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jackson ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Lee out cold! The fight is over!

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Vaex, right into the meat.

Vaex closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Balnowski tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vaex just stands there and leans against the cage.
Vaex lands with a right to the head.

Vaex drops Balnowski with a big knee straight up the middle! Balnowski is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

It looks like Jacek Balnowski has been cut.
Balnowski fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Balnowski is still on wobbly legs! Can Vaex finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Vaex moves into the clinch.
Balnowski is pressed against the cage. Vaex pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Balnowski! Two more big strikes from Vaex and Balnowski crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Alastair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devonte Grigsby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alastair kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Look At Me Now by Chris Brown. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Grigsby is trying to pull guard but Alastair has him pressed against the cage.
Alastair wants to get back to striking at distance but Grigsby won't allow it.

Grigsby's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Grigsby shoots for a double leg takedown but Alastair sprawls well. He's pushed Grigsby's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
