The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaker tries to clinch up but Lombard circles away and keeps his distance.
Lombard blocks the body kick.

Lombard shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Shaker as he avoids it easily.
No luck for Lombard with that takedown attempt.
Shaker fails in his attempt to clinch.

Lombard tightens his grip and picks Shaker up, before dumping him to the ground. Shaker manages to land in guard.

Bowell doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Valdo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bowell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bowell shoots in but Valdo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Valdo lands with a nice body punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Valdo lands a nice shot to the body.
Valdo stuns Bowell with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Valdo throws a right and a left that Bowell avoids nicely.

Bowell takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Valdo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bowell on the side of the head.
Leo Valdo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Valdo lands a big uppercut and Bowell crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bowell looks OK. Valdo waves Bowell back to his feet!

Valdo cracks Bowell with a hook to the temple - Bowell is on wobbly legs here! Valdo swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Bowell falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Valdo wins by TKO!

Quintero bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
