Sideman manages to get his head free but now Jacks has transitioned to an armbar! Sideman grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Jacks! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Runt throws a series of punches but Ali moves out of range.
Ali tries to counter by closing the distance.
Chris Runt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Runt uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ali has time to react.
A telegraphed right hand from Runt misses the target.
Ali has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nice uppercut there from Runt.
Runt connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

The fighters circling - Ali throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

It looked like Runt was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ali.

and Runt counters with a crisp right hand that drops Ali! Runt lets Ali back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ali walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Runt sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Ali's defenses. It connects perfectly with Ali's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

After the fight, Chris Runt was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
