The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush defends well against a solid takedown attempt from First.
First misses with a takedown attempt - Rush sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Hensen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Soul Coughing - Super Bon Bon. Bear is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Good Times. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jer Bear was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Bear unleashes a big counter combination but Hensen bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Bear looks to land a combination. Hensen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Sven Hensen has been cut.
Hensen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bear connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Hensen is rocked!
Bear misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bear fails to land with a series of punches.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hensen lands with a right to the head.

Bear wants the takedown. Hensen is fighting it off but Bear persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Hensen's guard against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bear throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hensen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bear is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Hensen throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Bear escapes and throws Hensen's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Hensen parries the strikes from Bear easily there. Bear is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hensen to escape.

Bear lands some shots froms side control.
Bear is looking to take a break and control but Hensen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hensen tries to buck Bear off but Bear is having none of it.

During a confident post fight interview, Jer Bear thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
