Undercard bout

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lu Hao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Koch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jacob Koch was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koch throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hao will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hao looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Koch gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hao is trying to force a seperation but Koch has the dominant position.
Koch tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A frustrated look appears on Hao's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Koch has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hao to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Koch is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hao pulls down on the head and he's put Koch to sleep! This one is all over!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bruno Aires.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Aires, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Stern lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Stern changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Allen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
