The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasongo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Van Wijnbergen manages to avoid it.
We've been told by Van Wijnbergen's head coaches at Unicorn Powered Fighting that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Joels Van Wijnbergen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Wijnbergen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Van Wijnbergen connects with a solid leg kick.
Van Wijnbergen keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kasongo throws a hook to the side of Van Wijnbergen's head but Van Wijnbergen sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Van Wijnbergen clobbers Kasongo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Van Wijnbergen throws an off balance right hand
and Kasongo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Van Wijnbergen scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Kasongo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Van Wijnbergen was well out of range. Poor timing from Kasongo.
Kasongo walks straight into a right hand from Van Wijnbergen - that's dropped him! Van Wijnbergen jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kasongo from any more punishment! Kasongo complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Nordlund kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Hate to say I told you so from the Hives. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kamenov's choice of entrance music: Linkin Park - Numb. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Nordlund sends Kamenov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Nordlund is motioning to the referee to let Kamenov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The fighters circling - Nordlund throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Nordlund weaves into range and cracks Kamenov right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Kamenov goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Nordlund is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

In his post fight interview, David Nordlund gave a big smile as he said 'I knew this guy was unbeaten, but he didn't have a real opponent like me. Thats what happens when you're rolling with the big guys, baby. Like the Northern Light!'.
Grisha Kamenov was interviewed post fight and said 'i Will be champion and a hall of famer just wait this is nothing i will do it !'.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Larratt working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Larratt has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Smith to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Larratt is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Smith pulls down on the head and he's put Larratt to sleep! This one is all over!
