Velazquez throws a nice looking combination but McGee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Velazquez drops McGee with a naaaaasty hook - McGee is in real trouble here! Velazquez dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Kane throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kane off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hideo Kane. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smith wants it to stay on the feet.

cuaresma feints a jab and as Woo dips his head, cuaresma unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Woo right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Woo falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! cuaresma smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lau avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dunn misses with a takedown attempt - Lau sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Dunn scores with a hook.
Dunn bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Lau stalks Dunn and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dunn's face. Dunn staggers backwards, shaken.
Lau doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Lau takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Dunn decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Lau is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dunn keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lau's head.
Lau is looking to stand up but Dunn isn't so interested in that idea.

Lau pushes Dunn off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

You can see the frustration on Lau's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that Mark Dunn will probably get the nod.
