Dikunov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dikunov wants it to stay on the feet.

Nowak fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dikunov, pushing him back against the cage.
Nowak has Dikunov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dikunov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Dikunov is trying to trip Nowak. He has hold of a leg but Nowak is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dikunov persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Face fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Face misses with a takedown attempt - Carter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Carter lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Carter has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Dominic Carter spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
