Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Terry Bernard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gonzo Bunga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bunga is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Nova. Terry Bernard had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Gonzo Bunga is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cover tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Cover cracks Nin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Runfor Cover is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cover misses with a few strikes there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cover. Nin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nin shoots in for a takedown but Cover shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cover cracks Nin with a good jab.

Nin is rocked!
Cover connects with a stiff jab that staggers Nin - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartman tries to clinch there but Ivanovic circles away.
Ivanovic avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ivanovic throws a series of punches but Hartman avoids them all with ease.
Nice body kick there by Ivanovic.
Hartman looks gassed!
Ivanovic will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ivanovic misses with a series of wild punches.

Ivanovic lands a left and a right that send Hartman crashing to the mat, dazed. Ivanovic thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Hartman is rocked!

It looks like Teddy Hartman has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ivanovic sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Hartman's defenses. It connects perfectly with Hartman's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
