The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cover swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cover misses with a few strikes there.
Nin takes one on the chin but seems OK.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nin.
Nice takedown defense from Cover. No joy for Nin on that attempt.
Nin shoots in and drives through. Cover sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ro Nin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Nin wants to finish this one by submission but Cover is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nin.
Cover tries to reverse the position but Nin maintains control.
Nin moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Cover has worked his arm free - good work by Cover!
Cover bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Nin needs to keep his hands up - Cover had a free shot at his head there.
Cover scores with the left hand. Nin knows he should have avoided that one.
Cover misses with the combination.
Cover throws a right and a left that both miss.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nin.
Cover goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Runfor Cover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nin gets the takedown into side control.
Nin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cover keeps working.
Nin is breathing heavily.
Nin working away.
Nin tries to advance to mount but Cover denies him.
Nin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Nin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cover is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cover tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Cover is trying to buck Nin off.
Nin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
A left lands for Cover.
Cover cracks Nin with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Runfor Cover is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cover misses with a few strikes there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cover. Nin does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nin shoots in for a takedown but Cover shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cover cracks Nin with a good jab.
Nin is rocked!
Cover connects with a stiff jab that staggers Nin - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Hartman tries to clinch there but Ivanovic circles away.
Ivanovic avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ivanovic throws a series of punches but Hartman avoids them all with ease.
Nice body kick there by Ivanovic.
Hartman looks gassed!
Ivanovic will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ivanovic misses with a series of wild punches.
Ivanovic lands a left and a right that send Hartman crashing to the mat, dazed. Ivanovic thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hartman is rocked!
It looks like Teddy Hartman has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ivanovic sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Hartman's defenses. It connects perfectly with Hartman's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
