The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quincy doesn't manage to clinch there - Zuev circles away.
A little jabbing left from Zuev on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Quincy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zuev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Quincy cracks Zuev with an open hand slap.
Quincy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Zuev counter with a right hand.
Quincy just misses with a punch to the body.
A little jabbing left from Zuev on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Frazier gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Nomura is working for takedown but Frazier is calmly controlling the position for now.
I was talking to Nomura's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Nomura gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Frazier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nomura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Frazier not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Nomura is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nomura in particular looking to stall.

Nomura seems to be working for a kimura but Frazier defends the submission attempt.

Nomura has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Nomura takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Daichi Nomura decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Dylan Blake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blake shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Green pinned against the cage. Green gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Green tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Green has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Green is working to tighten his grip on Blake's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Blake has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Green is really squeezing tight and eventually Blake passes out! Green breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

It looks like Pau Blanxart has been cut.
Blanxart changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Man tries to avoid it but Blanxart manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Man to the ground. Man escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Man stuffs the takedown attempt from Blanxart. Blanxart gets slowly back to his feet.
Man appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Macho Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pau Blanxart.
Blanxart tries to score a power double leg takedown but Man sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Blanxart somewhat.

Bronie throws a nice looking combination but Pettis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
It looked like Pettis wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
