The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Max.
Max tries a head kick but it misses.
Laforce displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Laforce throws a body kick that misses.
Max on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

James Max seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laforce shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Max but Max pushes him off and we're back to square one.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Marles Chartel was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Maleh as Lehnsherr shoots in.
Maleh uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lehnsherr.
Maleh tries to clinch up.

Maleh drops Lehnsherr with a beautiful combination! Lehnsherr stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Maleh is looking for the KO!

It looks like Erik Lehnsherr has been cut.
Lehnsherr looks to throw the jab but Maleh is out of range.
Maleh throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lehnsherr throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Maleh sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lehnsherr on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gorski shoots in but Alzado avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Alzado avoids the body shot from Gorski.
Gorski fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Alzado uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gorski.
Alzado defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gorski.
Lyle Alzado has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tymon Gorski.

Let's hope that Gorski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gorski is defended easily by Alzado.
Tymon Gorski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alzado shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Alzado was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Alzado goes for an armbar but Gorski turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Gorski.

Gorski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gorski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Gorski is looking to take a break and control but Alzado is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Alzado parries the strikes from Gorski easily there. Gorski is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Alzado to escape.

Alzado got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gorski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Alzado has managed to get both his arms back between Gorski's legs - danger averted.

Gorski has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Alzado should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gorski has tightened it up now! Alzado should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
