The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cornell stuffs the takedown.
Cornell throws a front kick aimed at Returns's knee but Returns avoids it well.
Cornell throws a combination. Returns tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Returns clinches up with Cornell and pushes him back against the cage.

Returns escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Returns tries to clinch up but Cornell circles away and keeps his distance.
Returns throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Cornell closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Cornell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Returns moves away.
Cornell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Returns lands an overhand right.
Cornell defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Returns.
As Returns backs off Cornell throws a huge counter combo but Returns manages to avoid it all.

Returns thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cornell's head.
