The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hugo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Mauler fails with the takedown.

Mauler is standing up over Hugo. Hugo looks to escape but Mauler dives into side control.

Hugo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mauler has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mauler tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mauler has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

I think Lukas might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I am Glorious . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
