The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holm lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A combination from Holm does no damage.
Holm lands with a shot to the body.
Holm moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Good shot there by Holm.
A punch combination from Holm misses.
Theron misses with a hook. Holm ducked under it nicely.
Holm tries to close the distance and clinch but Theron swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Theron has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Holm after a bit of a struggle.
Holm has had enough of the clinch but Theron keeps him there for the moment.

Theron is trying to pull guard but Holm turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Holm scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Theron manages to mount him!

Sylvanas gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Lee throws a leg kick which misses Sylvanas's front leg but catches the back leg as Sylvanas tries to avoid it.

Kamiya drops his hands for a split second and HumpBees immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Kamiya face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. HumpBees follows up with a right hand that knocks Kamiya into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Well Kruiz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
