The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jouben looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Jouben takes one on the button.

Rose feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jouben sprawling to the canvas! Jouben rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rose finish him?!

Jouben is rocked!
Rose lands a brutal uppercut that launches Jouben off his feet! Jouben tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lea enables Luahoomae to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lea manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stefanov switches off momentarily and Hasashi cracks him with a monster right hand! Stefanov topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Hasashi dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Hasashi!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Disosiondars has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
