No joy there for Ingles, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Harry Sears seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooh!!! Ingles has knocked Sears down with a huge combo! Ingles steps away and waves a wobbly Sears back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Ingles swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sears. Ingles does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ingles is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Sears tries to bum rush Ingles with a series of wild strikes but Ingles uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ingles unleashes a big counter combination but Sears bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Sears misses with a lunging right hand
and Ingles cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sears walks straight into a right hand from Ingles - that's dropped him! Ingles jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Sears from any more punishment! Sears complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Luciano postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gozu is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Luciano, into his guard.

Luciano can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gozu controls the pace.

Gozu wants to control from the top but Luciano keeps moving.

Luciano has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gozu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Gozu stays in close to Luciano's body and controls the position.
It looks like Gozu might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Luciano drops back, looking for a kneebar! Gozu looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Gozu looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Gozu!

Gozu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Luciano keeps working.

Gozu lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Chonan in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Chonan is trying to stall.
Chonan is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Aldo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Chonan has him pressed against the ropes.

Aldo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chonan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Chonan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Chonan wants to clinch but Aldo slips to the side
and Aldo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Piranha Chonan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Piranha Chonan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Piranha Chonan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
