Weber's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Weber was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Brown tries to counter with a clinch but Puchacki shakes him off and moves away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Brown has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Brown feints and as Puchacki raises his hands in defense, Brown changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Puchacki throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Brown drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Brown as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Puchacki screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Brown! Nice submission victory there!
