Pain shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Closov counters by clinching up.
Pain is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Closov to keep the fight standing.
Pain tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Oliver Closov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Curtis Pain.

Hamilton throws a hook but Lange blocks it.
Hamilton throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hamilton lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lange at a distance.
Hamilton fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hamilton throws out a powerful jab.

It looks like Orlando Lange has been cut.
Sunny Hamilton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lange takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Lange is rocked!
Lange drops his hands momentarily. Hamilton doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Lange staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Lange doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
