Cucumber closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McGregor to the mat! McGregor manages to get full guard.
McGregor is looking to stand back up but Cucumber counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by McGregor.

Tee closes the distance and clinches up with Alucard, looking for a takedown. Tee pushes Alucard against the cage but Alucard circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No luck for Alucard with that takedown attempt.

Alucard drops Tee with a right and a left! Alucard comes rushing in but Tee regains his composure and manages to keep Alucard in guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rickard enables Chenepe to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rickard manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Chenepe wants to control from the top but Rickard keeps moving.

Chenepe is sitting in close to Rickard's body. Rickard has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Chenepe is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Chenepe is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Rickard.

Belyakov has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bling after a bit of a struggle.

Bling is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Belyakov pulls him back up using the underhooks.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Belyakov lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Bling shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Belyakov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bling really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belyakov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bling drops back, looking for a kneebar! Belyakov looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Belyakov looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Belyakov!

Belyakov decides to stand back up. Belyakov steps back and let's Bling get back to his feet.

Belyakov clobbers Bling with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Belyakov lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Bling circles away from the clinch attempt.
Belyakov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Belyakov is breathing heavily.
Horrible takedown attempt by Belyakov or perhaps it was just good defense by Bling, which made it look bad.

Bling fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Belyakov sprawls well initially but Bling persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Belyakov scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Bling manages to mount him!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bling scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Bling's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bling gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but King Bling will probably get the nod.
That's time! Belyakov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Belyakov wriggles free and stands up.
Bling is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bling misses with a leg kick
and Belyakov counters with a left and a right that stings Bling.
Belyakov is looking to clinch but Bling is avoiding it.
Belyakov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bling defends well and Belyakov ends up having to push Bling into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Belyakov jumps guard but Bling stands there with Belyakov around his waist. Belyakov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bling tries for a takedown but Belyakov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Bling is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Belyakov wants to get back to his feet but Bling is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Bling tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Belyakov swivels and escapes.

Belyakov throws a right and a left that both miss.

Belyakov wants to control but Bling is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Bling frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Bling takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
