He turns his back on Meaux, trying to create some distance but Meaux rushes him, striking wildly and Kelly goes down! The referee tackles Meaux into the cage to end the fight! Meaux is one violent man!

and Lincekum connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Quick goes for a double leg but Lincekum avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lincekum continues to drive forward.
Tim Lincekum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnaton Quick.

After the fight, Tim Lincekum was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
