The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aleksandrovich loads up on a big right hand but Armstrong slips the punch.
Aleksandrovich throws out a loose jab but Armstrong uses good head movement to avoid it.

Armstrong shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Armstrong was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Zhirkov drops back, looking for a kneebar! Norfolk looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Norfolk looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Norfolk!
The referee asks Norfolk politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Norfolk prefers to stall for the moment though.
Check out the look on Norfolk's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Norfolk looks up at the clock and then as Zhirkov takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Norfolk smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Norfolk takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Pete Norfolk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yuri Zhirkov.

The referee is keeping an eye on Norfolk - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

I would just about give that final round to Yuri Zhirkov.
