We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Briggs with a poor takedown
and Collins counters with a series of strikes. Briggs will be more careful next time no doubt.
Collins is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ian Rogers will probably get the nod.

Alvario is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Verra doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Alvario crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Alvario's bad books for that mishap!

The fighters circle momentarily. Hovac darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Richard Winston has been cut.
Hovac lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Winston circles away quickly and effectively.
Hovac lands with a hook. Winston tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Hovac steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Winston.
Jab, jab by Hovac - just one landing.
Winston missing with a left hand there. Hovac was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Winston dives in for a single leg takedown but Hovac sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Hovac lands a left and a right that send Winston crashing to the mat, dazed. Hovac thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Hovac stuns Winston with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hovac is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Hovac rushes Winston with punches - Winston moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Winston goes down! Hovac follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
