Elf decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Zakkara has hold of Elf's hands but Elf slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Babangida throws a head kick but Robredo moves out of range.

Robredo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Babangida, pushing him back against the cage.
Robredo lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Babangida backwards.

Robredo manages to break the clinch.
Robredo cracks Babangida with an open hand slap.

It looks like Ibrahima Babangida has been cut.
Robredo digs a good body shot into Babangida's ribs.
Babangida throws a head kick that misses.
Babangida fails to land the takedown.
Babangida should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Robredo drops Babangida with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Babangida looks back up at him and smiles so Robredo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Robredo goes for a small jab and connects. Now Robredo goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Babangida stumbles back but Robredo runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Babangida to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Babangida will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
