That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Boyd crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Jones - the referee stops the clock and Boyd gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Jones. Boyd manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Boyd has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jones.

Jones lands a big head kick that sends Boyd tumbling to the mat! Jones takes a step backwards and waves Boyd back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Boyd doesn't seem phased though.
Jones lands a leg kick that knocks Boyd off balance momentarily.
Look low, kick high! Jones uses the oldest trick in the book to send Boyd tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Jones is absolutely delighted - when Boyd wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
