Sparring Dummy has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. A nice leg kick lands there from Demyan.
Demyan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Logan.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Demyan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Logan is breathing heavily.

Demyan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Logan sprawling to the canvas! Logan rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Demyan finish him?!

It looks like Paul Logan has been cut.
Demyan lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Logan crumples to the floor! Demyan milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Raven kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bleed it Out by Linkin Park. James Raven has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Edmond Dantes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Leroy Brown!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dantes moves away from the strike by Brown.
Brown leaves Dantes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dantes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Brown throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dantes.
Brown throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dantes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brown. Dantes does a little dance to reset his feet.

Dantes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Brown not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Dantes loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Brown wants to pass the guard but Dantes is keeping the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Brown throws a big shot that misses.
Dantes tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it.
Dantes shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Dantes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dantes fails in his attempt to clinch.
Brown with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dantes is breathing heavily.

Dantes moves into range and clinches up with Brown.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Dantes.

Brown breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dantes changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Dantes manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dantes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brown swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dantes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brown sprawls well. Brown wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dantes gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edmond Dantes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A chopping leg kick lands by Brown.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown misses with an uppercut.

Brown keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A combination from Brown does no damage.
Brown misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Brown keeps the fight on the outside.
Brown lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Brown misses with a few strikes there.

Dantes has Brown up against the cage in a clinch.
Dantes keeps control of Brown as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Brown swings wildly with an uppercut but Dantes uses good head movement to avoid it.

Brown's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dantes tries to clinch up.
Dantes tries to clinch but Brown moves out of range.
No luck for Dantes with that takedown attempt.
Brown connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Dantes! He's out on his feet! Brown rushes in and drops Dantes with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
