The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Al Khan.
Al Khan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Al Khan, as that shot connected.

Yoshida shoots in and drives through. Al Khan sprawls well.
Al Khan lands an overhand right.
Al Khan connects with a right hand. Yoshida shakes it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yoshida shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Al Khan but Al Khan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Yoshida changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Al Khan tries to avoid it but Yoshida manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Al Khan to the ground. Al Khan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Flannery has an Americana. Gonawyn didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Flannery is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Flannery hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
