Carlos Marquez had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Marquez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Avery.
Avery swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Marquez.
Avery looks to land a right hand but Marquez moved out of range.

Ian Avery seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As Avery looks to move away, Marquez throws a big counter combo but Avery just gets out of the way.
Avery might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Avery bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Marquez's head.

Avery has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Marquez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

A little feinted left hand from Marquez on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Marquez throws a lazy right hand but Avery sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Marquez seems to have got his legs back now.

and Avery counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Marquez! He's just covering up as Avery starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Johnson comes into the arena with Gary Clark Jr. - Bright Lights blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Spooge's choice of entrance music: Litte Things - One Direction. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Spooge throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Johnson throws a jab when Spooge was well out of range.
Spooge throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Spooge moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off.
Spooge throws a quick inside leg kick.
Johnson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Spooge throws a low kick but it's checked well by Johnson.
Spooge throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Spooge cracks Johnson with a right hand to the side of the head.
Spooge lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Johnson.
Spooge let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Spooge connects with a right that clearly hurt Johnson. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Spooge proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Johnson collapses and taps out under the pressure!

In his post fight interview, Loves To Spooge started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Bee Jay decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Del Norte fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gracie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
