With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kazuyoshi Ishii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Douglas Kopejtka!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishii slips a straight right by Kopejtka.
Ishii misses with a low kick as Kopejtka jumps back.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Kopejtka! But no joy.
Kopejtka misses the jab.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Kopejtka unleashes a big counter combination but Ishii bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

It looks like Kazuyoshi Ishii has been cut.
The fighters circling - Ishii throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Ishii feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kopejtka's calf.
Ishii throws the left hand but Kopejtka avoids the punch easily.
Kopejtka unleashes a big counter combination but Ishii bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Kopejtka scores with a jab to the jaw.
Kopejtka ducks under a wild hook from Ishii.
Kopejtka throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ishii misses with a series of wild punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kopejtka connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Ishii onto his butt! Ishii bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.
Ishii throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ishii throws a right hand that misses
and Kopejtka makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Ishii fails to land with a series of punches.
Ishii has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kopejtka finds it's way round the side to connect with Ishii's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kopejtka closes the distance and lands a lead uppercut that stumbles Ishii back against the ropes! Kopejtka follows up with a jab and a huge straight right that knocks Ishii out cold! What a finish! Kopejtka looks absolutely delighted, as he should do! Congratulations that man!
