The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keenan fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Domino throws a lazy head kick
and Keenan counters with a three punch combo that has Domino backing up. Domino nods at Keenan to acknowledge the strikes.
Domino has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA New York in the buildup to the fight.

Keenan closes the distance and pushes Domino back into the cage.
Domino connects with a knee to the head.
Come on Keenan - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Domino escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Domino stuffs the takedown attempt from Keenan. Keenan gets slowly back to his feet.

Domino tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Keenan just stands there and leans against the cage.

Keenan gets to his feet - Domino follows without any prompting.
Keenan moves in looking to clinch but Domino pushes him off.
Keenan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Domino sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Keenan somewhat.

Maynard Keenan seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Domino is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Keenan is defending well for now.

Our spies down at at School of Hard Knocks (Elite Training for $225) inform us that Keenan has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Domino got a little sloppy there for a moment and Keenan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Domino has managed to get both his arms back between Keenan's legs - danger averted.

Keenan is trying to counter with his kicks.

Domino manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Keenan on his heels. He'll look to pass Keenan's guard now, I'm sure.

Keenan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Domino can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Domino stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Keenan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Domino is standing up over Keenan. Keenan looks to escape but Domino dives into side control.
Keenan is trying to improve his position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Domino cracks Keenan with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Keenan wants to get back to his feet but Domino drags him back down.

Vinicius Ii is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Navas slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Vinicius Ii is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Navas frees his head nicely. Oh but Vinicius Ii has switched to an armbar! Navas is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Toole Jr paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
We've been hearing reports that Tate has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Toole Jr thuds a left hand into Tate's body.
Tate takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tate takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Ottis Toole Jr decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
