The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Way shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Reveal defends it nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Way is defended easily by Reveal.

Way shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Reveal is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Way is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Reveal doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Way.

Reveal has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Way is on him like a limpet, forcing Reveal back against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasquez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Velasquez misses with a wild combination.
Huey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Velasquez has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Iron Palace in the buildup to the fight.
Huey takes a swing at Velasquez's ribcage but misses.

Huey unleashes a big counter combination but Velasquez bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Velasquez, as that shot connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Velasquez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Huey defending well as Velasquez loads up on a big left hand.
Nice uppercut lands for Huey. That snapped Velasquez's head back.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Huey looks to land a combination but Velasquez avoids it well.
Huey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Velasquez throws out the jab.
Huey connects with a stiff jab that staggers Velasquez - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
