The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux lands a head kick. Pokka smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Dux throws a body shot but no joy.

Dux closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Dux struggles to land a body shot inside as Pokka controls his hands.
Dux misses with a hook to the ribs.
Pokka looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Dux breaks the clinch.
Dux throws a series of punches but Pokka moves out of range.

Pokka is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dux's half guard.
Still in half guard, Pokka seems content to control.
Dux scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Pokka manages to mount him!

Dux walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Pokka checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Pokka drives through with a takedown into Dux's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dux has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pokka is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dux.
Dux tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Pokka presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Dux is looking to improve his position but Pokka isn't that keen on the idea.
Dux sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Whack! Dux lands a heavy head kick that drops Pokka. The ref tackles Dux to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Pokka was done.

Vanderlay seems to have locked his on tight now - Sturniolo screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Vanderlay, as he picks up the win!
