James throws a looping overhand right but Verk ducks down to avoid it.
James tries to bum rush Verk with a series of wild strikes but Verk uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
James throws a jab when Verk was well out of range.
Verk connects with a crisp jab.
James swings widly with a right hand
and Verk counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Verk uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before James has time to react.

A looping hook to the body misses from James. Verk does a little dance to reset his feet.

James fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

James drops Verk with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Verk looks back up at him and smiles so James waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

James thows a left - swing and a miss!
Dwayne James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Verk with the counter takedown but James avoids it easily.
James definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
James finds Verk's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Verk flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. James lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Verk will be OK.
