The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupp wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jackson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dupp uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Dupp digs a good body shot into Jackson's ribs.

Dupp uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jackson.

Dupp lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice takedown defense from Dupp. No joy for Jackson on that attempt.

Dupp throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Jackson's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Dupp dives in looking to finish as Jackson flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Dupp's strikes! Dupp is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Jackson's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Jackson was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

I think Timoti might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Avenged Sevenfold - This Means War. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
