The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Davis.

It looks like Shane Johns has been cut.
Davis wants to clinch up but Johns keeps it at a distance.
Johns scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Davis slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Shane Johns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johns cracks Davis with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Johns throws a hook but Davis blocks it.
Davis tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johns swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Johns walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Davis checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Davis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Davis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Johns moves out of range of the strikes.
Johns blocks a jab.
Johns misses with a straight left.
Johns falls off balance throwing a combination
and Davis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Davis moves into range and clinches up with Johns.
Davis avoids the elbow strike from Johns, against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Davis.

Johns is rocked!
Davis unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Johns! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Davis is unloading with more strikes now! Johns drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
