The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guappo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Seffu pinned against the cage. Seffu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Seffu misses with a wild body shot.
Guappo shoots in looking for a takedown but Seffu manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Guappo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Guappo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Seffu.
A quick step to the side and Guappo tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Guappo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Seffu defends well and Guappo ends up having to push Seffu into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for El Guappo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Seffu swings and misses with a hook to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Guappo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Seffu pinned against the cage. Seffu gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Seffu lands a hook to the side of the head.
Oh Guappo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Seffu tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Seffu using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Guappo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Seffu with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Seffu creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Guappo's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Guappo drops to his knees and Seffu pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Van Hoorde feints a jab promting Kelle to slip. Van Hoorde then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kelle slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Kurt Kelle has been cut.
Kelle tries to clinch up.
Kelle jabs Van Hoorde right on the nose. Van Hoorde blinks but takes it well.
Van Hoorde lands a jab to the head.
Kelle fails with an attempt to clinch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Van Hoorde! But no joy.
Sloppy strikes from Van Hoorde. Those never looked like landing.

Van Hoorde lands a left and a right that send Kelle crashing to the mat, dazed. Van Hoorde thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kelle is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kelle throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Oh Kelle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kelle is looking to clinch.
Kelle seems to have got his legs back now.
Kelle has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Van Hoorde lands a hook that stumbles Kelle back into the cage. Van Hoorde follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Kelle to the canvas! Van Hoorde pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Kelle has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Ribiero closes this distance looking for a takedown but Steel circles away.
Steel comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Steel lands with a shot to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Steel.
Steel stuffs the takedown.
Steel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ribiero stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ribiero shoots for a double leg takedown but Steel sprawls well. He's pushed Ribiero's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Ribiero. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Steel connects with a body shot that sends Ribiero's belly button to the back.

It looks like Andre Ribiero has been cut.
Ribiero with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Steel to score with a decent uppercut.
Steel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ribiero doesn't seem bothered though.
The crowd cheers as Steel lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ribiero doesn't seem phased though.

Ribiero takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Julius Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ribiero shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Steel feints and then cracks Ribiero's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ribiero down.
Steel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Steel is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ribiero rather than just go for the knockout.

A jab-cross combination lands for Steel and sends Ribiero crashing to the mat! Steel follows him down to the mat - Ribiero regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Vosgi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Vosgi has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
