The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrei misses with a head kick.
Perkins blocks a low kick nicely.

and Perkins counters with a shoot takedown. Andrei fights it but they end up in guard.
Andrei is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Perkins dives into side control.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Perkins is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Andrei is trying to escape and Perkins transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Andrei is forced to tap! Nice work there by Perkins! Very nice indeed!

Batista throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Zigaman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Batista lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Zigaman takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Batista throws a head kick but Zigaman moves out of range.
Zigaman misses the shot to the body.
Batista goes for a double leg but Zigaman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Zigaman continues to drive forward.
