The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OvGod rushes Gustafsson and presses him up against the cage.
OvGod using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gustafsson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Gustafsson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as OvGod walks away with a smile on his face. Gustafsson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kruger throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Steel sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kruger fails to land with a series of punches.
Steel was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Steel has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kruger is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Kruger checks the leg kick nicely there.
It looked like Kruger was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Kruger lands a right hook to the body.
Kruger scores with a hook to the body. Steel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kruger rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Steel moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That kick from Steel tenderised Kruger's leg. Kruger is trying to keep his angry face on.

Steel's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kruger connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Steel scrambles back to his feet.
