A telegraphed right hand from Dementia misses the target.
Dementia scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dementia thumps Wills with a low kick.

Pugilistic Dementia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Wills.

Horrible takedown attempt by Wills or perhaps it was just good defense by Dementia, which made it look bad.
Dementia throws a counter high kick but Wills was just alert enough to avoid it.

A counter left hand to the body from Dementia misses its target.
Dementia clobbers Wills with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dementia. That's going to slow Wills down.

Dementia drops Wills with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wills looks back up at him and smiles so Dementia waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Dementia cracks Wills with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Wills tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Dementia pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Wills is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erickson shoots in looking for a takedown. Mukhtar tries to sprawl out of it but Erickson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mukhtar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mukhtar throws a fast counter high kick but Erickson manages to duck under it in time.
Mukhtar pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Erickson looks to throw a body kick
and Mukhtar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Mukhtar looks to land a body kick but Erickson moved away.
Mukhtar uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Erickson has time to react.
Erickson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mukhtar pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Erickson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mukhtar. Mukhtar obviously looking to wear him down.

Mukhtar leaves Erickson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Despite the aggression on Mukhtar's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
We've been hearing reports that Erickson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Mukhtar circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Erickson to the canvas! Erickson doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Mukhtar keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Richie Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodgers Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richie Carter had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 147.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Richie Carter looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Carter looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Owen throws a hook but Carter blocks it.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Owen.
Owen looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Carter throws a right and a left that both miss.
Carter chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Owen can pounce on him.

Carter is pressed up against the cage. Owen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Carter down to the mat. Carter avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Carter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Owen circles away quickly and effectively.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finisher throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Finisher tries to bum rush Gracia with a series of wild strikes but Gracia uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Gracia has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Finisher is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Gracia is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Finisher lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Gracia wants to lay and pray for a moment but Finisher keeps working.
Finisher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracia on the ground.
Gracia looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Finisher is avoiding damage well.

Gracia swings around for an armbar but Finisher sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracia's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Gracia is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Finisher rolls with it to try and escape but Gracia cranks on the arm and Finisher is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

That has opened up Mongol Budlung's cut even more.
Suckerpunch connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Budlung to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Suckerpunch!
