The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Katasonov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kong. That did some damage!
A punch lands to the side of Kong 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Dinji Kong has been cut.

Dinji Kong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Katasonov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kong sprawling to the canvas! Kong rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Katasonov finish him?!

Katasonov feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Kong collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

Kais tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bruza just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kais tries for a takedown. No joy.
Kais tries to pull guard but Bruza won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenny Kais. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bruza gets underhooks to prevent Kais's takedown attempt.

James switches off momentarily and Skif cracks him with a monster right hand! James topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Skif dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Skif!
