The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seery tries to clinch but Run moves out of range.
Run tries to counter with a takedown but Seery is quick to defend against it.
Seery stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Seery wants it to stay on the feet.

Run shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Seery napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Seery throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Run goes for a double leg but Seery avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Seery continues to drive forward.
Seery's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Seery duly obliges.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Run takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Run is rocked!
Horrible takedown attempt by Run or perhaps it was just good defense by Seery, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hit Run. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Run takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Seery's coach down at Highland Brawl Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Seery's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Seery tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Run appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Seery misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Run.

Oooooh!!! Seery has knocked Run down with a huge combo! Seery steps away and waves a wobbly Run back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Oh Run is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Seery cracks Run with a left hook right on the temple and Run goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Seery lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Run is OK!

Yamato shoots in for a takedown but Sweet shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Yamato enables Sweet to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Yamato manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
