The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bentos swats away the attempt to clinch by Work.
Work has his takedown stuffed
and Bentos connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Work throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bentos.
Bentos swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Bentos ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Work goes for a double leg but Bentos avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bentos continues to drive forward.
Bentos unleashes a big counter combination but Work bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Work takes one to the side of the head.
Work takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Steven Work has been cut.

Work is breathing heavily.

Work has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bentos finds it's way round the side to connect with Work's head.

Bentos shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Work takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Bentos sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Work bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Myers slips a straight right by Spinolio.

Myers has closed the distance and engaged Spinolio in a clinch.
Myers has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Spinolio is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Spinolio throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Myerss head.

It looks like Jason Myers has been cut.
Myers is looking to take this one to the mat.
Myers blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Myers pressing his opponent against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Spinolio fails to land.

Myers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Myers throws out a counter right but Spinolio avoids it with no problem.
The fighters circling - Spinolio throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Spinolio is looking to wear down Myers with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Spinolio finds Myers's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Myers flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Spinolio lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Myers will be OK.

Frankenfurter tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Frankenfurter has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Frankenfurter sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Carolla is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Frankenfurter wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Carolla, who protects the arm well.

Frankenfurter is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carolla knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Law fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Law fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Frankham looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Law cracks Frankham with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Law jabs Frankham to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Frankham on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Law cracks Frankham with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Frankham tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Law pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Frankham is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Regal Law!
A relieved looking Regal Law thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Shan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
It looked like Collins wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Collins lands a nice hook to Shan's body. Shan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Collins works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Raziel Shan has been cut.
Shan takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Collins bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Shan's head.
Collins gets in close and tags Shan with a short punch that almost sends Shan to the mat! Oh Shan is in big trouble! He turns his back on Collins, trying to create some distance but Collins rushes him, striking wildly and Shan goes down! The referee tackles Collins into the cage to end the fight! Collins is one violent man!

A very excited looking Dante Collins rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Chivon is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Hellmuth Jr clinches with his opponent.
Chivon wants to break the clinch but can't.
Chivon using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Hellmuth Jr has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Hellmuth Jr lands with a light punch inside.

Chivon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hellmuth Jr uses from the top position.
Hellmuth Jr won't allow Chivon to sweep him here.
Hellmuth Jr is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Hellmuth Jr's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hellmuth Jr has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Chivon is looking to stand back up but Hellmuth Jr counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Chivon.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chivon can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hellmuth Jr seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Chivon wants to stand back up but Hellmuth Jr manages to pass into side control.
Hellmuth Jr moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Chivon is looking for a sweep.
Hellmuth Jr staying calm.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Hellmuth Jr looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Hellmuth Jr slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chivon creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Chivon takes a shot to the head.
Chivon tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hellmuth Jr avoids it.
Clinched against the cage, Hellmuth Jr lands a big elbow that drops Chivon! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Chivon is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
