Seery throws a nice looking combination but Quade bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Seery lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Quade takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Seery's coach down at Highland Brawl Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Seery's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Quade looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Quade throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Seery swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Seery lands a big uppercut and Quade crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Quade looks OK. Seery waves Quade back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Seery lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Quade out cold! Quade is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Run feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Run forces his way into half guard.

Run is trying to work for a kimura but Virtucio is defending well.

Run is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Virtucio doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Run.

Run is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Virtucio is just riding it out for now. Run eventually gives up the hold.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Run is trying to control. Virtucio wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Downes tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dixon defends well and Downes ends up having to push Dixon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Downes closes the distance and clinches up with Dixon, looking for a takedown. Downes pushes Dixon against the cage but Dixon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
