The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horiguchi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Perez throws a combination that misses
and Horiguchi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A combination from Perez does no damage.
Perez wants to clinch but Horiguchi slips to the side

and Horiguchi counters with a nice right hand that sends Perez toppling to the canvas! Perez scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Horiguchi finish him?!

Perez is rocked!
Horiguchi fakes the body blow, causing Perez to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Perez goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Travis's jab looks to have found its range, popping Silli under the eye.

and Silli counters with a crisp one two that drops Travis! Silli thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Travis to his feet! Travis is in big trouble!

Silli looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Silli punishes Travis's body with a nice straight punch.
Silli throws a series of punches but Travis avoids them all with ease.
Silli is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Silli lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Travis can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Silli and Travis drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Silli.

Alvarado changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Alvarado feints and then cracks Maly's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Maly down.
Michal Maly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maly takes a kick to the side of the head.

Maly shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Alvarado napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Alvarado manages to get back to half guard.
Alvarado is concentrating on defense, preventing Maly from advancing position.

Alvarado is looking for a sweep. Maly is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Alvarado seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Alvarado holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maly wants to stand and escape but instead Alvarado has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Alvarado drops back looking for a leg! Maly is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Maly manages to kick Alvarado off! Alvarado jumps back into Maly's guard.

Maly turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Alvarado off and cradles Maly's limp body as Alvarado celebrates with his corner.

Frettish has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Frettish throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva.

Silva shoots in but Frettish avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Andreago Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Frettish comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Silva stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Frettish is on him like rabid pit bull! Silva slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
