That was a close round but I would say that Seleukos Molovgomedov will probably get the nod.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Attano has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Attano and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Shopionus avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Young uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shopionus.

It looked like Shopionus wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Young takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Shopionus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Young looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Young swings for the body but Shopionus moves out of range.
Shopionus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shopionus looks to score with a jab to the body but Young is just out of range.
A countering left hand to the body from Young misses.
Shopionus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Young sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The crowd cheers as Shopionus lands an impressive looking overhand right. Young doesn't seem phased though.

Young throws a lazy right hand but Shopionus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Young throws a nice looking combination but Shopionus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A bone on bone clash there as Young blocks the leg kick.
Shopionus jabs Young to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Young throws a right hand that Shopionus ducks under and follows up with a left that Shopionus also avoids with ease.
The fighters circling - Shopionus throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Shopionus takes a swing at Young's ribcage but misses.
Young looks to clinch
and Shopionus counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Shopionus thuds his right hand into Young's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The crowd cheers as Shopionus lands an impressive looking overhand right. Young doesn't seem phased though.
Young misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Young takes one to the chin there.

Shopionus is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Young flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Young is out cold! Shopionus holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Mansion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Campion was covering up waiting for the punch and Mansion finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Campion seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Doe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Palelei takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Joe Doe has been cut.
Doe throws a leg kick
and Palelei counters with a one-two to the body.
Palelei rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Doe moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Doe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Doe gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Palelei gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Doe is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Soa Palelei!
Soa Palelei decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
