The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Putin tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Putin to the ground. Putin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Putin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Putin lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

It looks like Khor Gracie has been cut.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Putin.

Putin manages to break the clinch.

Putin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Putin comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Putin just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gracie's brow.

Khor Gracie's cut is getting worse.
Gracie is trying to push Putin away but Putin has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Lisner feints and as Spice raises his hands in defense, Lisner changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Wick crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Walcott - the referee stops the clock and Wick gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Walcott. Wick manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Wick has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hyperion Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.
Walcott thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Wick if he has to take too many more of those.
Walcott lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Wick up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Walcott from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Wick's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
