GoldenEyes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Longo.

Longo shoots in looking for a takedown but GoldenEyes manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Longo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That was a close round but I would say that Leroy Longo will probably get the nod.

That was a close second round but I would say that Leroy Longo will probably get the nod.

Poli shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Heed as he avoids it easily.
Poli has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Heed shoots in and gets a takedown into Poli's guard.

Heed got a little sloppy there for a moment and Poli has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Heed has managed to get both his arms back between Poli's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Poli had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Heed defends it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Poli has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Heed should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Poli has tightened it up now! Heed should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Oko Poli was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
